about
First and foremost, I’m Braden’s mom. He is my heart and I’m blessed to have such a sweet and loving little boy. I’m a happily divorced single mom who, like all moms, has a million things to juggle. My situation is unique in that my son is with his dad half the time, so in some ways I have it easier than most moms, and in some ways I have it harder.
After a couple of years of letting the dust settle, Ex-Husband and I work really well together as a team, raising Brady. I hope that we can be the exception to the rule, and raise a happy, well-adjusted, contributing member of society, despite our split. So far, so good (but with a lifetime ahead of us!)…
I met the love of my life a year and a half ago and I feel like I’m in a romantic comedy every single day. Doug is the most amazing man, he’s so funny and he is my best friend. I had no idea this is what love is supposed to be like! It’s just too bad he lives two hours away.
When you’re done puking, I’ll also tell you that I have a dream to write professionally. I am starting here, but hope to one day get published in a magazine and ultimately (don’t laugh) run my own. With about 20 years of life experiences packed into the last 5 years, I have a lot to say. And if I’m lucky – life will keep throwing me curve balls, and I’ll keep trying to knock ‘em out of the park!
If you’re interested, you can read a little more about my blogging start-up experience here.

I hope this is how I do it. Love reading this!

Thanks for checking out my page- you’re right: we’re quite similar! I’m enjoying your posts …and I too wouldn’t mind running my own magazine someday (I’ve even gone so far as to do a mock up of one on my Mac). I’ll definitely keep reading!

The “When you’re done puking” caught me off-guard and I did laugh out loud. Not the “LOL” that is written so willy-nillily (yes, willy-nillily.) I REALLY did give out a laugh! R,LOL!
Great blog!

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind words. I’m glad you enjoy my blog.
I take it by your comment “By the way! Sorry for any spelling or grammatical mistakes!” that English is your second language. Impressive that you are reading English blogs, in that case. I am beginning to learn a new language myself, (French) but have a long way to go! It’s quite the challenge, but so much fun!
